Anquet v 6.01 and Pocket PC

I suppose you did select "live track">"live track" (and "moving map"😉 in the
gps dropdown menu of Ankwet ?

Well, I did try but whereas the iPAQ is receiving the GPS signal from
the Bluetooth GPS and it tells me the port is open, If I try GPS status
I get a message that there is no GPS connection :-(

I shall persevere though.

Not to worry, he's not wild camping on a mountain top. More of a luxury
trip, in a hotel.

Hi All, yes and I've walked more in the last five days than in the last
five months - my calves are knackered.

Shopping /window shopping with the missus is bloody hard :-)

Anquet have told me that the bluetooth ipaq can only handle one device
at a time, but I was only using Anquet. In GPS viewr I could see all
the available satellites, so the Ipaq was communicating with the BT GPS.

I closed GPS viewer and went into Anquet where I was told "No satellite
communication".

I shall look further into this after reading the advise from Anquet.

In the meantime it works beautifully with Memory Map.

Here is the reply I got from Anquet - and it worked.

Soft reset your PPC.

Open Anquet v06.  Define your parameters and use the test button.  This
should make the connection.

Then use File-Close to close Anquet.  This will save the configuration
to its setting file.

Now re-start Anquet.  Try say GPS->Livetrack->Livetrack

I did forget to do a soft reset but I did ensure that there were no
other programs running in the background when I opened Anquet.

It was exiting the program after setting up the parameters i falied to
do, and the GPS > Livetrack > Livetrack caught me out. There is a
"Livetrack" within the "first "Livetrack" menu.
