presumably if you already have the new software it will bolt on to

Yes. The virtual landscape works OK for me on "old" Anquet products,
after upgrading the software.

updated for access land etc? Even so I have ordered the south of
England CD for £89 inc p&p 🙂

Landrangers (1:50k) will not be updated for access land. It will only
be shown on the Explorers (1:25k)

There is oput of date and out of date. For hillwalking purposes a few
years out of date is no problem at all. The bits they update are the
pretty symbols for pubs and picnic tables and the new
dual-carriageways that are gradually covering the land between the
towns.

I think the OS are only putting the new CROW access land markings on the
1:25k mapping (Explorers).

Thanks for the tip druidh. The only concern I have about this company is
that their online ordering doesn't seem all that secure. At least I don't se
any sign of the comforting yellow padlock symbol. Of course nothing to stop
you phoning an order in.

there an overlap? Also, is there any advantage to having the
Wales National Parks as a separate wotsit, or is the coverage

Wales is all in the South area.. Boundary is Spurn Head westward.
