  1. Petacchi.

Brioches La Boulangere will ride until they explode to keep Voeckler
in yellow for as long as possible. Fdjeux.com also has an interest
in discouraging breakaways, both to assist Cooke and on the theory
that Voeckler and O'Grady will both fade in the climbs before Casar
leaving Casar in yellow for a time.

This means Petacchi should get a couple of breakaway free days to
show that he's still a top sprinter when other top sprinters are
    also in the race.

And speaking of Italian sprinters that have sucked so far, I
suppose this gives Cipo a chance to show us he's still alive.

I had totally forgotten about him. How about that! When he
announces his retirement I wonder if he will back date it.

Schwartz--it's your intellect and insight as to why you
should be on of the Top Leaders of RBR over the years.
It's the way you can see things clearly and cut through the BS.

    How can we reward you?

Yeah, the OP was one of the more thoughtful bits of race analysis here
    in a quite a while.

Sure, but being not a very strong team Brioches La Boulangere is certainly
not capable to controll the race. So they will be quite happy if a few
riders are taking a couple of minutes, forcing the teams of the sprinters to
    lead the pursuit.

  12. Gosh, I'm blushing.

But I missed the damage from Petacchi's fall. In my defense
we don't have cable so all I'm working on is the audio feed
from Eurosport over the internet. I should have placed that
    bet on 'None'.

Well, if anyone really feels indebted they could kill Bill Z
and Guy's computers. I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.

My plane tickets are on Tuesday, we'll be in the Pyrenees
and the Alps. I have some ideas for getting to Alpe d'Huez
via telepherique and mountain bike but I'm still not sure
how I'm going to do it. If I had enough daylight after the
finish I'd ride trails back to where we are staying but
    that's not an option.

I'll be sure to take pictures of the food for heather.

bike racer if you're feeling generous.

just no porno shots please, not into your kind of perversions-

As curiosity, what telepherique are you going to take? From Vaujany?

No fracture. Says he is going to continue. However, can't see
him getting to full sprint pace with the pain of a recently
    subluxed shoulder.

Yes please. I really liked your Ronde van Vlaanderen page.

Also, if you can take down a Cutter on the Alpe, I'll double
    Trdina's fifty bucks.
