I moved my marker on the weight loss board at the gym today! The trainer weighs me about once every week or two and he congratulated me on continuing to lose weight. I still hesitate to tell him what type of diet I'm on since his newsletter recommendations for diet totally go against the grain (excuse the pun). 😉 Either way, we were both excited about this new goal. This is the lightest I've been since college! Another 10 pounds and I'll best my college weight, too. I'm getting excited for summer... finally! 🙂

Congratulations! If you can get close to goal, summer should be good. I find losing weight in summer easier, because it's easier to exercise.

Congrats to you! I bet your trainer thinks *he's* doing a fabulous job - LOL!! You'll have to share your little secret with him to get full credit for your hard work!

🙂 Yeah, I told him that I go see my doctor next week Tuesday. I had set a goal of 220-something by the time I see him. About a year-and-a-half ago I had contracted Lyme disease and gone to see him. I was always aware, of course, of the fact that I needed to lose weight. He was the first doctor to give me the "have you thought about losing weight" speech. Between my sickness, and general crappy feeling it really hit home. I had determined I was going to lose weight before I saw him next. Of course, with the holidays it wasn't the easiest time to lose weight, but I made my goal... and for that I'm happy. I'm anxious to see what the doc says. When I told the trainer this, he laughed and said to make sure I tell him where I work out. 🙂 I replied that I was shocked that diet and exercise were actually working. LOL. 😉

32 lbs since mid-January -- GREAT job, Mark!
Thanks, I'm just feeling *super* motivated. That's my personality though. I can't do two major things at once because I obsess over things while I'm doing it. I go really gung-ho for a while and then find another thing that interests me and move on to it. I'll eventually slow down, I'm sure, but for now I'm really watching the calories and exercising probably 5 days a week... weightlifting and aerobics. I have a lot of hobbies because of this, but I know which ones are my favorites because I always go back to them... and spend lots of money on them, as well. 😉 With how good I've been feeling, I have a good suspicion that this will be one that endures. 🙂 Mark
