That's a good reason. I used to make dresses for myself once in awhile. Nothing fancy as I'm not
great at sewing, but plain old summer dresses, no sleeves, I could handle that. I made a fleece
jacket and hat for my niece 2 years ago and nice Christmas stockings for my son and the nieces and
nephews the same year (7 kids all together). The stockings turned out great. I've saved the pattern
just in case more kids come along one day. Perhaps when and if my life get a little less busy I'll
be able to get into sewing a bit more.

Oh, do get back to it! It's great for the weight loss - you get so stuck into a project that you
forget to haunt the cookie jar!
