which gets right back to tim bolen. I find the use
of the same address in two different cities to be
rather interesting.

My search showed:

San Juan Capistrano, CA (Default)
Mission Viejo, CA (Acceptable)

Which indicates that they share the same zip code. Same cities.

At the given address I found:

AIM MAIL CENTER
PAPER ANNEX

I believe that these are mail drops.

Other businesses including a pedodentist, attorney, women's clothing
store, public relations, dairy, a sing maker, and TONI & GUY
HAIRDRESSING SALON

and Bolen complains that Baratz does soemthing with hiar.

Nope. I was a beta tester, and some of my suggested improvements made it
into the program. Some did not, although the author liked them.

I find it interesting that the suit refers to "Unfair Business Practices "
and numerous other matters, but not libel? Would Negrete have had to
prove that Hulda Clark is not a dangerous and deluded quack to win such a
suit?

Many here have said so quite often, and it would seem to be an open and shut
case for them if she were at all genuine.

If you stopped to think who actually pays Bolen for his activities e.g.
Hulda Clark and other quacks, you would know whose freedoms Bolen is really
interested in protecting.

That has been my point all along. Negrete was not prepared to allow
the court to see what Clark was really up to, which he would have had
to do in a defamation action simply because the defence would have
raised these matters and would have had the power to force disclosure
of her ludicrous claims and would also have been able to call expert
witnesses. It is doubtful that Clark could produce even one expert
witness to vouch for her fraud. (Which latter point is amply
demonstrated by the way that the only defence against the expert
witnesses in the Kadile case is not to call other experts in rebuttal
but to try to make the real experts either run away or appear
incompetent a priori.)

By suing over business practices, Clark and her team hoped to contain
the case to discussion of the facts of her book sales and how exposure
of her deceit could cost her money. This had the twin benefit for
Clark of addressing her major concern, which is the stream of money
that she steals from the gullible.
