Well, blow me if I didn't just see almost this very thing
in Personal Computer World magazine's news pages today!

It's a camera that attaches to your spectacle leg, and
when you press a button, it stores the last 30 secs to a
secure Digital card.

I don't have a url for the mag article, but it seemed a
straightforward rehash of a press release. Details of the
camera are at www.dejaview.com, apparently. It was called
the Deja View Camwear Model 100, and costs $399 - which
seems a bit pricey in these days of £50 digicams.

Wouldn't it unbalance your spex when you are wearing them?
It could also (perhaps embarassingly) take a picture of you making obscene gestures at the offending motorist 😉

I like the idea of a helmet mounted camera if you are going for a ride that you know will be good for reviewing later.

I had a look at the link that Mssr Braggins provided and the kit looks like something straight out of Mission Impossible. Very trendy, but I cannot help thinking that the $400 that it costs could be better spent on new components, e.g. upgrade of some Ultegra parts to a Dura-Ace equivalent.

The way technology is going it won't be long before handlebar mounted computers become a think of the past and cyclists will have a HUD built straight into their helmet that projects all the facts and figures you could want onto the inside of the polarized Oakleys!
