  1. Do you guys and gals think the Angel of the Tour of California was a spoof on Le Devil of the Tour de France ?

She was blowing kisses at the riders at certain spots on the stages. I wonder if she will be a staple in the event like Didi "Le Diable" has been for the TdF (and other races)?

  2. The whole point with Didi the devil is that he's just a fan who builds bikes but started following the race as a fan. But the 'Specialized Angel'? Puh-leese...

Did you see Didi's bike with 7' wheels ? He he he.... He's pretty cool ! She's pretty.

Hey, one millionth of a meter. If we can't have Didi then Jana will do just fine. Who knows, she's probably a cycling fan and an expert Tig welder.😄

True fan appreciation vs. marketing ploy. However, the angel is a lot hotter.

    Did Didi travel to California?

You've gotta take your hat off to the man - he travels everywhere to support racing.

  6. If it's a marketing ploy, it's a good one. Got me to stare at a specialized logo, or slightly above it.

Reminds me of a line out of an old Woody Allen film, back when he was really funny:

"Sex without love is an empty experience"

"Yes, but as empty experiences go, it's one of the best"

No, there was a FAKE devil though - all in good fun.

Ah, I see - thanks for clearing that up for me.

Good likeness to Didi - nonetheless : I've no doubt he was there in spirit!
