Don't forget a puncture kit and pump (and practice with it in the warm

Sounds similar to the cheap hybrid that got me back on the road many

You are right to be wary of quick release. I had QR on my seatpin and had
the whole saddle and seat pin stolen from my government office under CCTV.
Now I have security seatpins and axle skewers (£14.95).
