Is there a way to have a file which can be used in CyclinPeaks when using the Computrainer in ergometer mode? If so, how? I see no way to download the head unit and no ergo mode in CP1 or 3D. Does the Coaching Software both up and download erg files?

I don't know the answer but you may find it in here ... or post the question

I found the following for you on the RacerMate forum:
"We have provided an export function in Coaching Software to let you export this data in a format you can print (if it's text you want) or you can import this exported file into Excel, Training Peaks, WattsUp, something you write, ect. Though we offer a view into the data using Coaching software to look at race data, you'll need to use a 3rd party reader to do any sophisticated comparison."
I searched their forum and couldn't find the answer.
I have downloaded the Coaching Software and Manual and it looks as if it will do the job. Am about to do a 2x20 trial using an erg file I created. Anything I should know?

see Chipotle's reply. I haven't used the CS pkg but since it seems useful for L5 work (which I've been told I MUST do 🙂 ) I've downloaded it this morning. I may have some questions myself 🙂

It works with CS.
You have two options:
load a .erg file in CS
use it in "manual ergometer mode" (in this mode you select the inital watts and the "step" then use like the standalone erg mode, +/- keys move load up/dn by the defined "step" instead fixed 5watts in stand along erg.)
At session finish save it (a .cdf) then export the .cdf to .txt and import to WKO+.
Thanks all. Worked great with CS. Built a little file/workout; pedaled hard; saved the file; converted the file to a text file; drag-&-drop into CP. I also see that there is an auto-convert option so that it automatically gives you a text file every time you save. - TF
