My hubby has been complaining about the jeans that I have because they are so baggy and I can pull them down without undoing the button. So I have a $20 gift certificate to Mark's Work Wearhouse that I was hoping to save until I was closer to goal but he convinced me to shop for jeans today.
I tried on the size 40/34s and they were pretty baggy...okay I could pull them down without undoing the button too. So I tried on the 38/34s and they were loose but I couldn't pull them down. So my hubby passes me the 36/34s and they fit!! Impossible!! My waist is 37". I know I measured. Apparently jeans manufacturers don't go by real waist sizes. There was a chart on the wall that said that 36" jeans were size 16 pant. WOOHOO. Soon I'll be in regular clothes shops.

You should try going to a regular clothes shop now. You might be surprised! Great NSV by the way. Fitting into smaller clothes comes as such a shock to the system.

Congrats on that size change. A friend got tired of my drooping jeans and she purchased me some at Costco. Unfortunately, length remains an issue for me!

You are going to so pleased with those jeans that fit you won't want to wear the old ones. Its a real encouragement when you start wearing more fitted clothes. People notice the weight loss more too when its not hidden behind baggy clothes. I remember the first time I wore a more fitted shirt to church. Several people had not even noticed I'd lost 17lbs at that point and were so surprised. ...more encouragement.
