  1. You got a dollar off if you bought Heinz Chili Sauce and Ocean Spray
Cranberry sauce. These fu(kers expected you to combine them. The
third "ingredient," (yes, these pieces of [censored] were attempting to
exploit the concept of few ingredients) was (unspecified brand) frozen
    meatballs.

I woudn't even bring this up, but when I showed the ad to my coworker,
he said that his mom makes meatballs in that style.

Heinz Ketchup, whatever, but their "Chili Sauce" is garbage, and
mixing either of those *condiments* into a *recipe*, FU(K!, that is
anything but 3 ingredients. Condiments do not qualify as ingredients.

I don't think you'll find much sympathy for your current cause
    here.

Yup, that coupon "deal" sux...and so do the meat ballz made from that
    receipt.

I liked it earlier this year when someone here said they wrote Heinz
to get a free bottle of Heinz 57 Sauce (it was briefly outta
production or something), I kyped TWO bottles - worth about nine bux
    total - outta that one...

I use coupons, but won't diddle with 'em if they are for less than 50
    cents off...

I saw that coupon/recipe too. I don't like those kind of meatballs,
either, but is it that hard to just toss it in the recycle bin?
Sure, there are a lot of people who would rather just mix stuff from
cans and bottles together. Be happy you know how to cook 🙂

Have you missed my repeated warnings against this recipe in any
    form? How is that possible?

Aw, they're just trying to capitalize on the 'grape jelly, chili sauce,
meatball' craze that's sweeping the nation. Personally, I'm a Welch's,
Del Monte, homemade meatball kind of guy.
Frankly, cranberry sauce might taste better than grape jelly for those
of us that have actually made grape jelly meatballs.

You don't *have* to combine them to use the coupon. Add prepared
horseradish to the chili sauce to make shrimp cocktail sauce. Use the
cranberry sauce on turkey sandwiches or to make an apple & cranberry pie
    or cobbler.

    My fave:

    MEATBALLS
    =========

    1 lb hamburger
    chopped parsley
    chopped garlic (lots)
    catsup
    BBQ sauce
    red pepper flakes

Combine the first three ingredients. Make little meatballs (one bite).
Put the catsup and BBQ sauce in a small bowl and mix. Put the pepper
flakes in a small bowl or plate. Bake the meatballs in a hot oven.
Spear a meatball with a toothpick. Dunk in sauce. Dip in pepper flakes.
    Insert in mouth. YMMV.
