  1. Did you see the preview of the new ads to "foster a more understanding
relationship between motorists and cyclist" on the news tonight?
I won't spoil them for you...

Received a txt tonight mentioning that there was Ch 9 news promo for the AGF Road Safety ad.

  3. It was on ch9 news. I can't see it changing the mind of any ute-driving hillbilly 🙂

I got the same impression - that it was just fuelling the arguments we have with drivers - not resolving. Hopefully there is more of it that changes the context

  5. yeah, I can just see the bogans laughing at it, and probably even being egged on a little

agreed alot of the 'bogans' will not improve much probably.

but hopefully some of the 'very nice decent normal people'
that still happened to be completely BRAIN DEAD when it
comes to being aware of cyclists, will become more aware.

    that's my hope.

don't be too cynical, as to have an ad on TV about this very
important issue is awesome. It'd never been done before.
    to my knowledge.

    we should celebrate🙂

  7. Kneel Mitchell of 3(Y)AW fame is doing talkback right now solely aimed at car drivers & asking about the ads. Hopefully I'll have a mp3 of this later on to review. Haven't seen the ads as of yet, so obviously I'll reserve judgement.

    *cough*
I think it depends on where you live as to what's on the box. ;-)

SA has had a few ads aired over the past year, you can view them all online
    here:

Anyone know whether the AGF will be putting theirs on-line? And what states
the ad is being shown in?

    Gemm
(not seen the AGF one in S.A.)

Just to clarify - which parts of Australia are getting these ads? Is it only
    VIC?

    Cheers
