    Night Four results are now on the site.

    There's a great piccy of Coppi and Filippi in their super aero two-up time trial gear too!!

    Thanks for all the hits you folks have made, and for the comments too.

    If you care to click the link to the official site, there are more detailed results there
    than I have.

    Ladies, check out the ''Dernyreeks Dames'' link on the official site. The results of the Womens
    Derny races are there.

    Zijlaard, possibly the greatest Derny Pilot of all time, is pacing the leading woman rider.

    Well some of them are not too bad. I have no GUI right now so I downloaded them and viewed them with
    SeeJpeg, but it would have been nicer if we'd been able to identify some of the riders.

    But what happened to Villa-Quaranta?

    NOS-Teletekst hasn't mentioned them since the first or second night, La Gazzetta hasn't mentioned
    Amsterdam at all and Het Volk and Het Nieuwsblad have nothing either.

    But did I not see them listed on the score board in one of your pix?

    I've had the results on my site for a couple of hours now. Along with a super aerodynamic Coppi and
    Filippi piccy.

    But I have been relying on NOS-Teletekst

    I don't use 'X' very much so am mainly text only but the official site is very impressive.

    Thanks for the info on Villa-Quaranta though.

    I will update the site in a few minutes.

    Yes, they were still there, 15 laps back I believe.

    The thing I liked about your photos was that was the first time I'd really seen how the infield
    is arranged. I'd wondered how the spectating was set up. Can you see the whole track from there,
    or just parts of it?

    Because the track is steep you can see the (heads of the) riders all the time. As seen on pic 00695,
    about a quarter of the infield is for seatless spectators, who can also walk around on the balcony
    in the turns. About half of the infield is for VIP boxes and deluxe food catering. Then there's the
    bar separating the foot-soldiers from the entertainers (the riders), who also occupy a quarter of
    the infield.

    That would mean seeing a lot of hairnets going 'round.

    From the looks of it, watching from the infield is definitely the hot tip.
