Great win by Schumacher.... very smart rider with a good engine..... come a long way since taking two Giro stages and beating Hincapie in the Enco tour last year..... his my pick for LBL now..... maybe TR as well.....

Good win but a boring race. Viduka was in a good position to win that and it was sad to see nobody in the escape or all of them try and bridge that gap in the last km. It was more exicitng than watching Lance Armstrong who was on CNN at the same time as the race though...

Yup, agreed. He initiated the winning break on the Eyserbosweg and also hit out just before the bottom of the Cauberg so he deserved that win. Valverde did an amazing ride to bridge accross to the break when he realized that was the winning move but was probably cooked when they lit it up on the finishing climb. Frank Schelck made a very good comeback but was probabaly too shaken after his crash. "Old Man" Rebellin was impressive taking second for the 'ol 1-2.

Viduka ? Didn't he score against Man U on the weekend ?

Great race. Wasn't boring at all... Maybe I watched some other race than JAPANic did. Gerolsteiner did what QS should do in De Ronde and PR, great team ride.
And Schleck recovered amazingly.
For me the best classic of season so far. Should be exciting Fleche-Wallone and LBL. -

I think he will have to work wholeheartedly for Tintin now in the next two races.

Oops... you know who I mean....
edit... Just figured out how I morphed up with Viduka...throughout the race I was thinking about Vinokourov and for some reason Danilo Di Luca + Vinokourov = Viduka...

Must admit I was very tired and only really watched the last 50km...had a hard time trying to stay awake...the Japanese comentators weren't really keeping me awake either and there was no other commentary....only the sound of the race with no talking or the J-nese guys. Plus htere wern't many of my favorites to look for in the race. Even the 2 Japanese guys played minor roles. :eek:
