Considering the worsening Iraq quagmire, and the billions of dollars we
have sunk into that black hole, this American acknowledges the French were
right for warning us not to stay out of Iraq. Too bad we didn't listen.

of the year) they don't go on about how the Yanks are eating their
dust, about how it must suck to be an overweight coke drinking, burger
faced, gun toting selfish git.. no... they take it as a bike race.
Sadly with comments like that you are lowering the wonderful
achievements of what is a developing country (in cycling terms)... the
country is becoming a world force, with many new technologies and new
innovative approaches to training and racing... keep that in mind,
don't degrade yourself or the achievements of some very hard working
men and women.

If you are really interested in racing you might have noticed that
there are 3 Americans in the top 20 of the Giro as well, none in the
top 50 in Austria, take a look at the Pays Roannais, and at the Route
Du Sud, try taking a look at other bike races.

to hearing. Do notice you didn't have to exercise your imagination there, now
did you. This is all stuff you've read before.

I think the point is to maintain a sense of humor and balance. Or at the least
pretend such an equillibrium. No fun teasing someone who takes it well. It is
hard to even pretend to being gracious about it when THE one and only "random"
drug test is Lance Armstrong.

Uh, yeah. "Random" sure. A few more stunts like that and the jokes will go on

2nd, The Tour is the only race that counts??? Think about it. Think
real hard, go and find out what cycling is all about... financial

Maybe politics.. if we really think about.. has little to do with
