Nights are drawing in, stealth cyclists will be donning their camouflage and fiddling with their flickering LED lights. Here's a new idea: http://www.otherpower.com/hamster.html You'd just need a big bar bag and a supply of special nut mix. And it'd be company on a long ride.

"will be"?? They already are! Sometimes you can see their candle flickering in the breeze!
OTOH, approaching a sharp bend on the cycletrack the other morning, I saw an approaching light, lighting up the hedgerow and trees. I was getting all fired up to be obstructive to the motorbike coming along the path, and it turned out to be another cyclist with Blackpool Illuminations on the front of his bike!

But not from a windmill in old Hamsterdam, as the windmills have mice in and it's hardly surprisin'
But the reason that there's nobody there now but a whole lot of mice might be because someone's bought all the Hamsters for their lights. After all why else would it be called Old Hamsterdam in the first place?
