What's a micro sabbatical. Just enough time for a bowl of chicken soup?

Is that a candle with four sticks on each side ?
Two Ronnies sketch : the classic fork handles scene.
Or was it four candles ?

Errrr..... possibly his birthday cake.

Every Friday night ?
Surely not - VOI !
At thought strikes me :O'Neocon and Velo get it together.
(of course this wouldn't happen but let's see where this might take us).
He brings 'er home to meet the mother, of a Friday.
That would be a good script.
It is apparant this circle jerk also involves intoxicating beverages.

I did some more work on that theme. good stuff, but I scrapped it. That's a classic as it is. Somethings are best left alone as the theme can be overworked, and it's one of the all time great pieces.

Only communion wine though, as it's blessed by...Oh no...not God again.

No beverages consumed here.

Wayneker and Iknowfuckall - seem to have abandoned you.
Maybe the earlier disclosure has put them off ?

I can't do justice to that type of script. We had some good jewish comedy writers some years who understood the nuances of that of that type of domestic sitcom, and the intricacies of possessive mother, and stand offs against the girl. A you're not good enough for my boy type of thing. Father wasn't bothered but his wife tried to involve him. There was an excellent sitcom of this nature but I can't remember the name of it.

Well it's the only sweet thing he'll get once a week.

It is probably re-run on Granada Plus Channel - Love Thy Neighbour or some suchlike.
The possessive mother garners the jokes - "is she good enough for my boy..."

I don't know, maybe been told to go to warmer place before. If you know what I mean. Alaska has good points.

Surely, surely not my house.
Had a 2hr chat with MCM this evening on the dog and bone. Please send a mail when you've got a ticktock. I'll check it out with BRF, but somehow I don't think it's his game. We'll see. It's Fred C's birthday today, we won the junior div champs twice, and he died when he hit a wall. That's why I use it. Can you believe Phil Thomas is 49 today. I looked after him in the dark days after the Peace Race fiasco. Obviously can't say much on this board, or any other for that matter. It's chimney corner stuff. MCM told DD that I wanted to be the moderator. Laughs all round. Anyway who wants this lot on board. I sent a message to Steve asking him to put Ireland in with England ,Scotland, and Wales as in cycling terms we have always been close. Do you think it's a sensible idea? Hey listen, have you any idea who spent 4000 characters writing The Detective? I couldn't be bothered blowing every statement to pieces. Nobody gave a [censored] about it anyway in the end. People used to write in with hooks on purpose to have a witty retort. Cantona here trawling the seas casting wide for a big sea slug in the cod end. Remember that one. Got him. Two more to go. 'Ready to set sail Mr Christian?' Oooh no. Not John Wayne, please tell me I'm going Maaaad. I think I'll start drinking.
