I've been doing WW for almost a month now (and have lost almost 10lbs). I keep a daily journal of all foods eaten and point totals, and I'm wondering about something. I have noticed that on days that I eat many 1-3 point foods, I usually do not have a weight loss showing on my scale on my morning weigh ins. But days that I eat larger point foods 6-8, I usually show a loss. Now on no day do I go over my points, so why the differences? Are all points not created equal? Should I try to stay away from grazing throughout the day on 2 point mini meals and try to just eat 3 larger meals??
I eat mini-meals and mainly 2 point items all day. The only things I eat over 2 points are sandwiches at lunch and the entree at dinner. I have lost 42 lbs since April. My guess is that you need to either eat more points (but not over your weekly allowance) or mix your points up each day. You may want to look into the Wendi plan. I have found that when I stop losing weight, adding 10 extra points one day will get me moving in the right direction again. It all has to do with making sure you are not in starvation mode and keeping your metabolism engaged. Everyone is different and you need to experiment. But I would definitely NOT say that 2 point foods or mini-meals are bad. The website for the Wendi plan is groups.msn.comtheoriginalwendieplanOpen ↗
Congratulations on the 10 lb loss. 10 lbs lost in a month is an excellent rate! Jill

welcome to the group, I can only lose by eating many small meals throughout the day but you must find what works for you and stay with that, it is different for each person, good luck Lee CSarge2 <[email hidden]> wrote in message "]news:[email hidden]...

Could it be that you are eating more bulk (fiber heavy) foods on those smaller point days and that the process of elimination does not free you of that bulk/fiber weight until the extra day later?
Or as others have suggested, mjx it up more and see how that goes.
Good luck

i agree with u i eat three small meals and then i have three snack or smaller meals inbetween that way i don't get to hungry and over eat. it has worked for me. i lost 30 pounds doing it that way angie "Kristin" <[email hidden]> wrote in message "]news:[email hidden]...

I think it totally depends on the person but I've always heard that eating smaller meals more often is more effective than 3 large meals. Just my 2¢ 🙂
