it was just a statement about how perversely easy this kind of thing is to obtain by those with the will. check my other posts - no vested interests in promoting anybodies pharmacy!

Professionals get these products and medical supervision for free. Just the cost of poor health downstream.
Mortality is about perception.

It's cool. You're right about the availability of PED's. I could tell you stories ....
:eek:One thing to keep in mind, what's a controlled substance in one part of the world, is an over the counter in another. With the internet, and the porous borders of the world, well, if you want it, it's only a click away.

Two years ago I consulted a bodybuilding competitor for his first competition. He asked me to help him with using gear, but I since I am out of that scene now* I told him he would need someone else's advice. This person lives in the UK. From my understanding that he purchased the gear on the black market and once it was in his possession he could use it without question from the authorities.(*- I formerly have an extensive background and personal experience in this area as a competitor and consultant. I have been involved with athletes ranging from local level to the pro level in bodybuilding, but again I am no longer involved so please no one send me PM's asking for advice.)
So it is my understanding that in the UK it is illegal to sell gear, but it is not illegal to use gear.
There are many parts of the world where gear can be easily purchased and used without hassle.
As a general note I am amazed and baffled by the writings/crusade I see under the Doping category, but whatever. Carry on folks and enjoy the discussion.
