Peter B said:SWMBO has just splashed out a small fortune to treat me to an Aldi
jersey and gilet and mightily impressed am I! The jersey is made
from Coolmax fabric and comparable with, or hopefully better than, a
£34 Enduro jersey I own that came with built in self-destruct and
the gilet is coated internally with a breathable yet wind-proof
membrane and appears very well made. <£12 for the pair!
There are two different styles of the "unisex cycling shirt". The ones
I bought in my local (Halifax) have a short (170mm) zip, and a single
zipped pocket on the back. My partner bought one in Darlington, and
hers has a much longer zip, and two open pockets on the back, plus a
small zipped pocket, suitable for a small amount of cash.
Having done a 30 mile round trip from Darlington to Richmond in my new
gear (shorts, shirt, jacket), I can say that it works, and it's cheap
:-)
