agreed. In fact, instead of typing here, she should work on forcing some food down. If you can't handle solid food, try a protein shake or something.
i think she should be in therapy instead of typing here.

I think several people on this group should be in therapy. And no, that was not directed at you.

See my sig. --
370/280/270 Single malt scotch is awesome (NO it does NOT have carbs as DON'T vodka, gin, rum, bourbon, etc generally) Malt can be made low carb through the judicious use of yeast. Low carb beer? Uh...yeah. Read the books. You can have more than eggs for breakfast. Yes calories do count. Ketosticks are not neccessary to lose weight.
well, im doing all i can to eat something, and its getting better. i dont appreciate the therapy comments, but /shrug. whatever. i kinda wanted to come here for some advice on low carb. if you want to be hurtful, its working. you win.

no im somebody that doesnt like to fight and i dont want to be attacked anymore.
where did you ever get the impression i was fighting with you? you've made [censored] statements and i've called you on them, nothing more and nothing less. your stupidity doesn't warrant as much as an argument, let alone a fight.
Just ignore those people, Tia. Apparently their choice of therapy is to take out their frustrations on innocent bystanders.

I just bought 2 boxes- free shipping. A margarita is someinthg I missed. I like the idea of keeping the packets in my purse. I could even put one in a greeting card and say Cheers!
still...No alcohol till vacation or special occasions.

Tia,
Yesterday in the Houston Chronicle there was an article about a low carb margarita mixer that might interest you called Zilch. I bought some yesterday and can't wait to try it. Here's where the story is: http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/food/3038310

i was on antidepressants for over 10 years. because of the meds, it greatly amplified the drunk feeling and i didnt like it. i probably had 20 drinks in my entire life. im not building up points, i just want a drink, and i want to know whats safe to have.
10 years of antidepressants explains a lot. Good luck to you. You have too many issues that have absolutely nothing to do with low-carbing that will negatively affect your ability to perform same.
Antidepressants are a type of medication, like an antibiotic or antiemetic or antipyretic. Taking or requiring them doesn't mean the person is a lost cause by any means. Illnesses that exhibit themselves in behavioral symptoms are still illnesses. They aren't character flaws.

well i appreciate your understanding. i only needed the pills for a short time, but the withdrawl symptoms were terrible so i stayed on them, while only on a low dose, just to abate the withdrawl. eventually i had enough nerve and the time off from work to suffer it out and quit it completely. my husband was a big factor in my ability to do that. either way, thanks -- _____________________________ This be Tia's SIG!!! tia....you're bearly eating...you state you have a low tolerance for alcohol but now you want a drink...and your hubby is sick...you're really not doing things right here...
well, we're home now and the hospital thing is done. i still havent gotten around to getting a drink because the entire situation isnt over yet, but i do appreciate the concern. i was thinking ahead for what i wanted when i really had the inclination so i didnt have to sit and research it then. i guess i can see how you'd get that id want to drink myself out of my mind from how it was written.
