The bad news is that Alan Webb has made similar tactical errors in the past;
the good news is that those can be corrected although he seems to be a slow
learner in this regard.

The kid is 21. He should have at least 2 more Olympics in him.

The first time I watched the race on mute. Watched again with sound this
morning. Marty said Webb had no strategy for the race but would just wait
and see how the race developed. Does Webb really believe he is that good? I
think he should be forced to watch the US coverage of the women's marathon
race every day for the next few months.
