ive heard nothing but good things about airborne, from their ride quality and cost to their after sales service. all in all you really cant go wrong with them.
by the way im not an owner of one of their machines, im just passing on what ive been told by people that do own them.

Thanks for that. From what you've heard are they very stiff because I've heard that titanium can be a bit noodely. I appreciate that you might not be able to answer this but thanks anyway.

from what the guys have been telling me, the airborne's are plenty stiff, i've not been able to ride the bike's as both bikes are about 62-64cm and i ride a 57, so as you can see there is a sizable difference between me and the lads.
i would have every confidince in what they tell me though, as they've both been in cycling for longer than i can remember.
have you any particular model in mind for yourself?

Theres a chance that I might be getting a sponsorship deal with a shop that stocks them and I just wanted to see what the general idea of them is from everyone. I'm trying to keep an open mind on all models because if I set my sights on something like a torch chances are that I'll then get a thunderbolt, so just looking at everything. Thanks for your replies.

I have been really happy with my MTB frame. I bought it about 3 years ago and it has been bomb proof. Dont know if that helps much but I have been very happy.

I've worked at Airborne dealerships and was very happy with what I saw. The guys at Airborne were pleasant and easy to deal with. They seem pretty stiff. Ti is a lot like steel regarding stiffness, but some of their models are designed differently for different qualities. The Torch is going to be the stiffest. Check out their site, Airborne.net, and they have a chart of intended purpose per frame. That'll give you a good idea of stiffness.

Thanks to everyone for replying. Sounds like they're pretty damn good quality. I have checked out their website and the intended purpose bit but I just wanted to see what people had actually experienced. I supose its kind of like those old Norco superlites, superlites they arent but the company marketed them as it. So from what I can gather the more high end you go the stiffer it gets but you lose some comfort, but overall a fairly stiff package?
Just out of curiosity the people who ride Airborne or know someone who does, what other bike would you compare it too stiffness wise. Thanks again.
