Aftermarket Visors?

not to buy, but you could make one easily with peel and stick velcro and some plastic sheeting. Or
you can cut up a milk jug, or I think www.nancysnotions.com sells plastic visor inserts for those
making thier own hats.

I know that's probalby not what you are looking for. ;-)

The do-it-yourself approach was calling out to me...but a little voice in the back kept saying that
the plastic's not being pre-curved would cause the velcro to separate at the ends...

I've never seen sunglasses that needed velcro, but you could always rig it up.

Otherwise, you could always use sunglasses instead of a visor.

Re-use one from a retired helmet? I'm assuming you're not concerned with being the height
of fashion?

I still have a Troy Lee visor that I bought at the beginning of the visor era (1996?). Since then
I've purchased several helmets with visors, and subsequently crashed while wearing them.
