    Big storm on Wednesday.

    96 mph winds on top of the local wountain Wednesday morning. By the afternoon, it had
    blasted through.

    Starting out, the mountain was still holding on to some cloud cover.

    The Sun started shining through in spots as I rolled to the dirt.

    Good thing I brought crack.

    Trail restrictions in effect.

    Sharing with equestrians is great!

    As I climbed up I came upon a whole bunch of ladies sleeping on the side of the trail.

    Actually they are hibernating.

    This waterfall is seldom flowing.

    One nice thing about riding on a storm day is that you don't have to endure the gutteral calls
    of the corpulent golfers as they squeeze out of their golf carts and shamble about the greens
    and fairways.

    Incredible photo's, Pete. It's beautiful there right now. We were there doing trail maintenence last
    Saturday and the views were incredible. I love when the East Bay hills go green.

    Did you do any color editing on: petefagerlin.comentrance.jpg ? Or is
    that straight from your camera? Some amazing colors.

    A little disappointment from what may have been expected, though. ;-)

    I was in the SJC area a couple week ago, and it was greener than I've ever seen it. They must have
    really gotten some rain this year.

    Ew.

    I haven't felt the same about ladybugs since we got swarmed by them last October at a tournament
    up in Amana, Iowa. They seem to be attracted to the color yellow. They went straight for our
    yellow shirts, and one gal's yellow car was just covered with them. They *bite*, and they're
    incredibly allergenic in mass quantities. I gave up on being nice and just started swatting the
    little [censored].
