What on earth is an adult directory, and who on earth would want one?

For that matter, if you really wanted an adult directory, wouldn't the
    electoral register do the job?

I like bananas, I wouldn't want to guard against them.

I thought the idea was to guard the bananas against the shocks and jolts
of cycling on the average pot-hole and speed-bump infested urban road?

Roadies tend to put banananas in their rear jersey pocket, then at the
first cafe stop plop themselves into a seat, smearing well-ripened bananana
over their back. The bananana guard prevents this, by digging into your
back and reminding you there's a bananana there. Genius.

Never AFAIR at a cafe stop, but I've certainly done it a few times by
lying on a grassy verge. Sunglasses have met their maker in the same
    way.

I wonder if I missread the word 'banana', perhaps he meant mens dangly bits,
which do sometimes need to be guarded against the effects of bad sadles!
