I need to check my bike computer, as I thionk it exaggerates my speed and distance by about 10%. Does anyone have accurate distance readings anywhere between East Malvern station and the city along the Gardiner's Creek / Yarra path, or anywhere between Port Melbourne and Elwood along the bike track?

Best way I've found to check my computer is this: lay out a tape measure on the ground. Put your front wheel at the end, and then roll forwards until you have completed one revolution (the valve is a good way to remeber where you started 🙂). The tape measure will tell you how far you have moved, and you can then enter this into the computer as the wheel circumfrence.
