Not me, the sales person that rang up the wrong color on the new refrigerator. Good thing I noticed it before they got it off the truck and up my steep driveway and some stairs. It's a good thing too that the old one still works, but the door is tweaked and you have to push it closed with your foot. and the right one is backordered for two weeks. Not that this is a crisis or anything... just a major annoyance. Good thing I work out of the house too, and didn't have to take a day to wait for delivery.

Aren't they all white?
almond is now "bisque". You can get shiny black too ( shows every fingerprint and srip) and if you are into gourmet applianced you can get polished stainless or one that match your custom cupboards.

I got stainless, but don't get it if you're a clean freak -- it shows every fingerprint.

hmmph. Cleaning = less time to ride bike and other things.
"a clean house is the sign of a wasted life". (magnet on my fridge)

Mine is, for obvious reasons. 2 small reasons that leave LOTS of fingerprints...

What difference does it make. It's just going to get covered in magnets and pictures the kids drew. ;^)

what funny is they are more interested in getting the freon from the one that's about to be retired. The kid's a total physics/science geek nerd.. what on earth do they want that freon for? I am almost afraid to ask...

If it's older R-22 it's worth some money. It's blamed for fscking up the ozone layer and is being phased out. The price per pound has gone up to the stratosphere as well. On the not so cynical side, if it is reclaimed from your old fridge it won't wind up being released to the atmosphere. (at least until whatever they put it in leaks it out)

Stainless! I want a stainless kitchen - you should see what I can do to a kitchen with one pot of tomato sauce.........

Shoot, I hate to hear that. I'm shopping for a fridge now and I really like the looks of the brushed stainless. Of course, anything I choose is going to have to be wiped down daily anyhow - we practice the dogs' box turns against the refrigerator door.

Easy fix. Remove the ground wire from the chassis. You'll only leave fingerprints... ONCE! =:^o

There's new stainless that supposedly doesn't show fingerprints that much. Mine (an Amana, with the freezer on the bottom) does. And, to get it look really nice, you not only have to clean it (with non-ammonia stuff, i.e., mild soapy water), but you should buy a polish. Then, it'll look kick butt. How many times have I done this? Oh, once a year or so. The rest of the time, it's just fingerprinted. Of course, how many times do I wash my bikes? About the same. How many times do I wax them? Never. How many times do I wash and wax my vehicles? About once a year. There's a pattern here!
