  1. Does a suspension fork really work?
    Look at this one.

  2. It may work but it's totally point less! it would be to heavy for trials
and i have never thought hmm i need suspension of trials or muni. I
would rather have a kh saddle then the suspension forks.

  3. For the suspension to help at all, you would have to do drops and stuff
sitting down. It is much easier and probably more comfortable to just
do it standing up and use your legs and body as suspension. Also, the
recoil of the suspension would most likely launch you off your uni.

  4. it would prolly be impossible for trials.. it would absorb your hop and
    be way to heavy

  5. I used to have one of those.....untill the suspension broke - twice.
It isn't really that great for trials, because you don't often sit down
the suspension is pretty pointless, and it make the hole thing a lot
heavier, the suspension did save me a couple of times when I
accidentally landed no feat, and it is quite glidy when your riding, but
    I wouldn't recommend it.
The frame slowly breaks, the welds holding the supporting beam accross
the wheel break off, so eventually the wheel just hits the frame
    whenever you down-pedal.
Overall all it really does is makes it a bit comfier when you riding
along, and when you land a big drop you can follow right down into the
seat and you keep going, it is much smoother and comfortable to land.
Yes the suspension works, but it is weak, pretty pointless, heavy and
    doesn't help that much.

  6. As far as suspenion like that, a seatpost suspension is better I'd
    think. Lighter.

As far as suspension that would actually be useful when landing.

  7. For the most part, I think that a suspension would be most useful for
distance riding. Of all the major unicycling disciplines, only distance
riding has the rider putting most of their weight on the saddle for an
extended period of time. Suspensions on a trials uni are not useful for
the simple reason that they will never be used for trials riding. This
is because the rider will land drops with their weight on the pedals and
    not on their saddle.

In order to have a useful suspension on a trials uni, it would have to
be incorporated into the pedals/cranks, hub, or wheel. Currently, the
best we have are nice fat tires 😄.
