  1. Interview with Michael Ball, owner of Team Rock & Republic.

    http://www.velonews.com/news/fea/13787.0.html

  2. Hmmm, let's look at some of his choice quotes:

    "Win or you're fired"

"I want a yellow jersey on my wall"

"The riders need a union" (to combat USADA, WADA etc.)

On the other hand, he practically accuses Contador of doping, and he's got Andreau as DS. So who knows.

Ya gotta luv how he accuses riders involved in OP except for Botero, who must be clean because he's riding for R&R. And then he goes on about Horner not being worth much, but at the same time says he offered CH three times what he is making on Fastana.

We are seeing some serious spin control here. I give it 900 milli-Bruyneels on the cycling Big Lie Scale.

I like where he says Contador wasn't busted because he's Spanish, but we know Botero is clean because the Columbian federation (which probably has a doping control program on the same level as Kazakstan) cleared him.

    That's a classic Bro!....😄

  6. That's the first time I've listened to this guy speak. I don't know his cycling credentials, but he sounds like he's going to implant himself in team selection and strategy way over his head. Big Ego. Holds the purse strings. He'll be treated by the Euros as the worst kind of American invader (rude and anti-establishment and arrogant). The ego's probably going to kill him though in the end IMO. Because winning at a cycling race is going to require different skills to creating a denim jeans brand. And he'll be loathe to delegate that power to someone better qualified.

Good luck to him if he can succeed though. He's obviously got the determination.

Nail, head, hit on that one. Type A [censored]. All the way.

I wouldn't want to be in Andreau's shoes. He is going to get micromanaged to death. Meanwhile Clinger (below) has got to wake every day and pinch himself to see if he isn't dreaming and actually has a job.

That’s a wacky interview…I would not play Ball with this guy:eek:…too possesive.

He talks out of both sides of his mouth. Contador was a coverup while his guys were framed..eek.

  9. Horner responds. It does not look like Ball was completely truthful. Who would have guessed.

  10. Ball is exactly the type of team owner this sport does not need.

LOL. This coming from a die hard Bruyneel and Armstrong defender.

Cool. Looking at your new sig, I have made the official House enemies list. I must be doing something right.

don't forget his prior incarnations ; all banned as well.

дом = russian translation for house
maison = french translation for house.
casa = spanish translation for house.

Ah, yes, labeling, a sign of the weak minded. Apparently you can't see the difference between being a "die hard" defender and being unwilling to assign guilt without definitive proof. If people like you were on juries the jails would be filled with innocent people.

Which of course explains your position on Ball. 😕 The problem with you, House, is that you have been a Disco and Armstrong apologist for so long that anything you say about others is laughable in its hypocrisy. Stupid is not way to go through life. Try showing a little consistency in your beliefs.

I'm disappointed that you changed your sig and I'm off the list.

I'm looking forward to seeing if Ball responds. Not that I am a big Horner supporter, but sometimes these big-talking spoilt brats like Ball need to have their "I call it as I see it" and "You can't handle the truth" creedos challenged.

Ball's interview reeks of someone who has convinced himself that he sees the world as it is, but in fact sees it through tinted glasses, and is prepared to bend the truth if it doesn't suit him or his self-image.

    Of course I'm perfect.🙄 😉 :p 😄 Not.

No comments, just deleted my post telling the truth about you?

If I thought a women would spend any time with you I would ask if your wife keeps your balls locked up since you obviously don't have them.

House, you enjoy this do not you.

Why is everyone a lier, why is everyone else in the wrong. Have you ever been in the wrong?

Yes. He enjoys us all giving him attention and responding to his posts perhaps.

  17. I guess this means that he was suspended from DP again ....

Nope, it just means that occasionally I will try to have a conversation about cycling on this forum. (which, you should note usually has someone attacking me rather then simply discussing the topic. go back and look at my first post in this topic and the subsequent response) I also enjoy watching Limerickman contradict himself and spend all his time deleting posts. It's quite humorous.

Lim's our buddy, Houseboy. The only gripe I have with him is that he said you were banned from here but we keep seeing you back.

    Houseboy?

I think you overstate his qualifications.

He was pool boy long time ago. And he was not a va-va-vroom pooly boy either. More the one the dirty old man bent over on a pool bench and gave him what for.
