  1. why is it that you don't tape the early morning coverage and then watch
it when you come home from work or whenever? (do people not have vcr's
    anymore, i forget?)

that way you can skip at least some of the parts you don't like, for
example all the commercials, or sheryl bob al bob lance lance lance..
and i will have less posts to read on rbr. i'm having problems keeping
up already (of course i'm adding to the problem here, lol)

heather- hot for sheryl and yes, i am cranky, thanks for asking, but i
had dental work done today so indulge me.

Ok, well, I did tape it today because I was back to work. Prior to
that I hadn't had to be at work during this TdF. So it does make it
nice to FF through the commercials but in the other parts I'm afraid I
will miss something. Goofy Bob might actually say something
enlightening or they might ask Sheryl something I actually want to
hear answered. So I sit through those parts, generally disappointed.

Combine that with the fact that I like to complain about that stuff so
I look less fredly and give myself a holier than thou aura. As if I
know something about cycling, which I clearly don't.

But here's what I don't do. I don't say I'm not going to post on RBR
anymore and then snipe the whiners because I'm high on NO2.

    😉

Here's something from her fan site:

The new record will be out Monday September 26th 2005.

The title is as yet undecided, but we do know that it will feature 10 tracks.

The first song to go to radio will be 'Good is Good'

Expect to hear that on the airwaves round August time.

You'll be seeing, hearing and reading about Sheryl more and more as we approach the date.....

Tour dates being worked on...not 100% solid as yet.

And there's another 10 seconds of my life I can't get back.

lol, now yer talking sexy like lance.

we got a printed ad for tivo in the mail, where they had a picture of a
"yesterphone" a "yestercar" and "yestervision". unfortunately for tivo,
these were all yester-items we own, love and cherish in our house.

yesterheather, not tivo's intended market apparently

Don't let poor marketing put you off of good technology. Our TiVo was
something my Lovely Wife was desirous of. I was sort of lukewarm about it,
but over time it has earned it's keep. You should it out.

That is what I do. Thanks for asking.
Ever since www.letour.com has run the depeches I follow the races
with them. Then watch the TV coverage. I follow the other races
through the live text updates on whatever site carries them.

Nothing wrong with being cranky so long as you lash out at
    somebody on rbr.

Ok, I will considered myself warned. It's not as if your drivel is any
less worthy than my drivel. I was just under the impression you had
made that statement some time ago.

    Pass the NO2.

It's nice to get good coverage of the TDF. BUT, I would much prefer that they
didn't repeat the race like 50 times a day. It would have been much better if
they put that money into getting us some decent coverage of the Giro and the
    Vuelta.
