how come CSC which if i am correct is an american company has always been
refered to as a danish team instead of an american sponsored team comprised
mostly of european cyclists?

subsidiary was (if not still is) their main sponsor; dunno if the
sponsorship is currently under US auspices or not, though.--

No, Tiscali is an Italien Web Provider IIRC. I beleive it began with Team
home/Jack&Jones, which was the first pro team in Denmark. The sponsors
changed along the way until CSC Denmark decided they needed to be a bit more
wellknown in the Danish public. So they threw in a couple of million $ and
luckily they are still supporting our sport. Tiscali was co/sponsor the
first year with CSC.HB

Deluca and Savoldelli are Italien and used to ride for the same Italien
team. -

So Discovery/Postal is a Belgium team?
I remember when they used to play 'God Save the Queen' whenever the
Benetton F1 team won a race. Thought it was an Italian team but they
are actually in the English Midlands or something. -
