I never paid attention to them and now I want to figure out how many I need
or shoould have or stay below to lose weight (see - i know nothing about
it!!)
Alot of you really seem to know about this. Is there a formula? I am using
fitday now. I haven't had dinner yet, but here's my stats:
1516 cal
1053 from fat
7 carb grams (3 are fiber)
105 grams protien
Dinner is roasted chicken and roasted cauliflower. The cauliflower is
lightly coated in olive oil and will have a light sprinkling of grated
cheddar on it. I may have a small salad on the side or eat a little of the
kids green beans.
I am 5'4" (tops, could be 5'3"😉 and currently weigh 138.
Lunch was admittedly fatty...I had mexican leftovers from last night. I
sauteed some onion, added ground beef - browned it and added: cumin, chili
pepper, cayenne, s&p, a bit of white vinegar, garlic powder - served on
romaine leaves with sour cream (sparingly), avocado, shredded cheese (went
easy here too) and a bit of no sugar added salsa.
I probably had 3 inner-leaves for lunch w/ about 3 cups of the chopmeat, 1/2
avocado & maybe 1/8th of a cup of shredded cheese. It was gooood but I was
ttrying to be aware of portions.
I had a wake up call this weekend after making sausage & peppers for lunch I
easily ate 5 sausage. I could've eaten more. I am a hungry chick (cue JC:
that's why you are a gargantuan fat slob) and eat more than my 6'7" DH.
:-( I am trying to learn to watch it now.
Any help is appreciated but please don't bash me and please don't start with
the "fat is good" - sure it's been great as I lost the last 70lbs but now
with 18lbs to go it seems calories count too.
