  1. Ran a new Pb time for 10K of 48:26 this morning - the Lung Run 10K
round one of Europes largest urban parks - Sutton Park in Birmingham .
Very hilly in places but the weather was cool and cloudy and that
certainly helped. Over 2000 took part and I'm delighted with my time -
especially as I have been injured since Xmas and ran a slow 10K of 54 a
    few weeks ago!

    It feels good!

Wow. Figured you would take longer to get back up to steam after all the
bothers. Yet another PB this weekend for a rec.runner :-)

I wasn't that good before injury!!

I've been far more conservative with the training - stickinbg to an
hour , multi terrain with a lot more emphasis on core training so my
form doen't go [censored] as I tire.

  4. That is fantast.........zzzzzzzzzzz.

Better a fast runner than a serial spammer and troller - how sad is
that . View this losers profile to see the tragic reality of a
    seriously lonely person.

    Congratulations!

But I must say, that was about the shortest race report we've seen in
    this group.

  8. 9800? A new PB for me!!

Each one more entertaining than the last.
    Each one a shining gem.

Self praise is no praise at all.

I wrote it whilst still up from my race - there isn't more to add , I
didn't plan the run like that I'm not that good a runner. I had only a
fleeting moment at 3K that I might be going too fast but I didn't think
of it again to be honest . At 9k I realised sub 50 was in my grasp but
put my foot down as I was worried that it could be something silly like
49:59 then turn into 50 with the chip time.

I'm not going to let this good time dictate my running though - I'll
just keep looking for steady gains.

Some how I missed that one.

You did leave a little room for improvement, but not much. 8^)
