Heh - been home! No news at home, so come the w/e's, ya don't hear from me.
Plus I had yesterday off work, since I'd been awake all night looking
after/feeding/wetting a little, only hours old Staffordshire bull terrier
'puplet' - found it in the grass out front of the house, freezing cold with
no mother or anyone in sight. Good job it ain't the runt (more like the

now that you have it rehydrated, there is no reason to stay up with it
all night. :-)
When we've done newborn kittens, we just fed/wetted them every 4 hours
on a schedule then did them right before going to bed, and first thing
in the morning.
Letting them go 8 hours during the night is not going to kill them...
We've raised at least a dozen kittens, as well as baby racoons and baby
skunks. We followed that tech. with all of them and all did fine!
No need to kill yourself over the pup, she'll be fine on that routine.
As long as she is kept warm during the night, she should sleep too!
Good luck and congrats! Hand raising a little animal like that is very
rewarding.
