Well I'm at no risk. That's a remarkable performance, but possibly not the
brightest thing he's done.

As a side note, there is a rule in Ironman triathlon that says you're
not allowed to crawl, (it's bad publicity for the event.)

According to Triathlon Australia rules from Nov 2002,

Rule 88 says you may not crawl.

If medical staff assess that intervention is necessary and assistance is
rendered before a competitor crosses the finish line, the competitor is
to be removed from the competition and is to be ruled as 'did not
finish' (DNF). Where, after crossing the finish line, a competitor
collapses or undergoes other severe physical trauma, he/she may be moved
clear of the immediate area of the finish line without penalty, and if
necessary may be given appropriate medical treatment.

Can't see any exemptions for Ironman, unless they come under a different
organisation.
