    True, but by the time you've faffed about doing so and checked and
    double checked it's all secure the 8 Freight will have had several
    minutes head start. And it'll much more easily accept the luggage at
    the other end too, with no wondering how floppy large holdalls would
    best be kept out of the wheels etc.

    It's the ease of loading and unloading that makes it the #1 bike for the
    supermarket run, even though the 'bent has quite enough baggage capacity
    for the job and can cover the actual roads bit quicker.
