I have repalced all the fasteners on my bike with titanium, except for the four in the Ritchey stem, they are 7mm. After searching several web sites, and talking to the people at SRP, which is here in town, 6mm and 8mm is about it in Ti. There must be some out there somewhere. ( Yes, for us gram obsessed people, it does make a difference of about 4 oz. for all the fasteners on the whole bike ) And yes, they are not cheap !

.de is the marker for Germany (aka Deutchland), not Denmark. They might not appreciate the mix-up...

Hmm... We'll all start worrying about you if we find out that you are laying awake nights worrying about whether the reduced rolling resistance of another 5 psi in your tires is enough to justify the increased weight from the additional air. 😄

Just out of curiousity; what type of Ritchey stem is this? I have never taken note of a Ritchey 4-bolt faceplate stem taking 7mm bolts (I recall they had a bastardized single bolt binder that did). Or are you talking about the four being two faceplate and two steerer...still I thought all of those were smaller. -

Thank you for having me check. It is not 7mm, it is 1.0 mm. What was I thinking ? Long story . Will be contacting SRP, 1.0 mm is everywhere. Sorry about that ! 🙂

The only size I have seen for the face plate bolts and the steer binder bolts is 5by .8 mm. The allen key that you use is a 4 mm. Maybe Ritchey made some other size stem that I am not familiar with. Hope this helps
