Matt is right, you can't go wrong stopping in CB/Gunny area. But there
is hardly a bad place to be between Vail and Durango.

I'm trying to convince a riding buddy to come along, I really don't like
riding alone in the back bowls of Vail let alone the backcountry of
places I have never been to. If I stay the extra week after Vail, it
will be the first week in August. I don't know if the wife is going to
go for it since I will be going to Oregon two weeks later. I'm working
on it though. I haven't been away since early November and I'm getting
antsy! Plus the new rig is going to need some breaking in 😄.

Dude, I'll leave you in the dust. And from the looks of it, you can't
even make it up 2ft water-barriers, much less the 3 ft ones, that take
you up to the next segment of the trail.
