Has anyone of my proportions got any of these or similar and what size did you get? I'm really enjoying going out on my bike on Sundays but it's getting colder. Last week I was riding along a straight country road with the sun shining from directly behind (make up your own jokes here). Right in front of me was a perfect rainbow.

It works the other way round as well. The fatter you are the taller you are supposed to be. Yes it is a pain

I'm a similar build except a couple of inches shorter than you - but still found the straps of my Castelli XL bibs too tight. Solved by sewing in some elastic to elongate the straps. Long socks help at the other end :-)

Very nice. I noticed a rainbow on Sunday morning too while racing ahead east to beat the heavy rain clouds coming in from the south. Weirdly satisfying to find flooded roads* when I came back, knowing for once I'd sucessfully and deliberately dodged the worst of the showers.

I'm 6'5" 32"W 34"L and I just get XL sizes. Bibs are pretty easily narrowed on a sewing machine. The sale rails are often filled with XXL's that make a great bargain if you're willing to adjust the size of jerseys and tights. I'm no tailor but it's simple.
Alternatively, you could semd 'em back for another size.

6'3", 34", 34" over here, and I have four pairs of those very longs in XXL. I suspect that anyone taller might be better off with the 3XL due to the distance 'twixt crotch and shoulder, but they are not at all baggy.

In women's tops I find that larger sizes just go wider but not longer - with size 10 and size 16 having the same length arms. Now I have discovered Long Tall Sally 🙂

Had to get Roos's Foska Bones jacket in men's large, because the 16 assumed she was tubby with narrow shoulders, which is not the case... On trips to NL it's off to the shops for normal clothes like T-shirts that actually fit!

At 6'5", 35" and 36" leg I've never found a pair of bib tights that fit, so come winter it's half a pint of deep heat rubbed onto hairy legs to keep the cold out. This works down to about -5c.

What is recommended in terms of shorts for someone of a similar height and leg length but 44 inch waist? There doesn't seem to be any cycling shorts or longs available. Are there any companies that sell shorts inserts or custom make cycling gear? I haven't been able to get cycling gloves, tops, shorts, booties or leggings and to date have not seen any web based companies that custom make cycling clothing. Does anyone know any different?

I have Endura tights that I love but only in the very cold for me.
Anyway mine are large, I have a 34 inch waist and 30 inch inside leg, my tights are too long really so with a 34 inch inside leg I'd imagine they would suit you well.
