Nope, the Troxel is far-and-away the ickiest one of the lot (on this
page: http://tinyurl.com/2gp9). The Savage is not even close, and all
the others are much better pieces of hardware.
I haven't seen what they have at Wal-Mart these days. It could be
today's version of the Troxel. Sears, Montgomery Ward, and other big
chains offered the Troxel and similar in the 70s and 80s. If you look at
Troxel's product line, you'll see why their unicycles are so inferior to
the ones sold by bicycle companies.
So a Wal-Mart unicycle is probably made by a third-party company, though
it may not be labeled on the product.
