Got a 48-spoke rear hub on my BMX. A longterm plan is to build a bike trailer to utilise it to it's fullest potential. 😄

24 hole rim!🙂 i converted a 24 spoke rim and 32 hole hub into a 12 spoke front wheel. Just use half the spoke holes.

Nothing really but tandems ae pretty hard on wheels and a lot of 'em
are built with 48 spokes - usually pretty thick spokes at that. You've
got two people on the bike and usually a rear "drag brake" of some
description (mostly hub brakes). More spokes (should) equal stronger
wheels which given the forces that can be generated by HARD braking or
two people pedalling is a "Good Thing(tm)".

Dave, get a 24H rim and use every second hole in the hub!!!!
