3Rensho. Information wanted

Speaking of unique 3Rensho's, has any one seen a Vitus-looking version, aluminum lugged, aluminum
tubed, glued frame/fork?

1) i'm jealous. those old 3renshos are absolutely beautifully made. the lugs are nicely shaped but
not garishly ornate, and the ride is rock solid steel. sure, they've got a couple of pounds on a
caad-whatever, but then so do i.

2) i've seen some evidence out there in netland that seems to indicate that the 3rensho name may
have been sold to someone who's slapping it on bikes they themselves didn't manufacture. i
haven't seen the vitusy one, but i've seen reference to a "3rensho car" carbon fiber, which i'm
pretty sure wasn't made during the konno days.
