It seems that F.Andreu's wife is behind A LOT of the doping
allegations?
I got 5 bucks that this has something to do with Kristen Armstrong
getting
even with LA through FA's wife.

"contacted by Cyclingnews about his statements, Vaughters admitted that
the IM conversation had taken place, but said that everything he had
said was based on RUMORS rather than facts. "
"The conversation had been printed out by Frankie Andreu's WIFE and
submitted to the SCA arbitration, according to Vaughters."
How many peoples spouse's print out the private IM's of their
significant other?
something smells bad about this... she was fishing.
"Vaughters said he could not be sure if Floyd Landis really had
photographs of the alleged doping practices."
"In fact, everything I wrote in that IM was something I heard from
somewhere else."

Oh shut up Jack.
I think that that line fits in well with [censored] Pound. Imagine Dickie Pound
being played by Jack Nicholson and he is being cross examined by Howard
Jacobs.
Howard Jacobs
I'll ask for the forth time. You ordered--
Pound
You want answers?
Howard Jacobs
I think I'm entitled to them.
Pound
You want answers?!
Howard Jacobs
I want the truth.

You can't handle the truth!
Son, we participate in a sport that has walls.
And those walls have to be guarded by men
with labs. Who's gonna do it? You? You,
Capt. Highpants? I have a greater
responsibility than you can possibly
fathom. You weep for Floyd and you
curse the WADA and the UCI. You have that luxury.
You have the luxury of not knowing what I
know: That Floyd's postive, while tragic,
probably saved the sport. And my existence,
while grotesque and incomprehensible to
you, will save the sport.

I thought the same thing when I read the article. Some people save
their IMs and some people let their spouses read their email, and
others do it without the other's knowledge, but it sounds more like
this was a team effort to get evidence. Can you say Linda Tripp?

If I read correctly, 'all the teams were supposed to receive 25
injections per day'.
Each team, I guess, for the whole team mechanics and staff included.
I hope.

What drugs are considered performance enhancing for mechanics and when is
somebody going to tell pound of excrement about them ?

Actiosomething for diabetic Belgian mechanics.

This is such a trifling amount for one as omniscient as yourself, sir.

The team mechanics probably dope more than anyone else during a 3 week
tour.
They have to work most of the night, the day is spent
driving/transferring and they don't get tested.
thanks,
K. Gringioni.
Sorry Lafferty, but Actos, Avandia, all the watchamacallit ("glitazar"
family, but the name changes depending on which researcher you're
reading) insulin resistance drugs are oral. Ditto most of the
prescribed sulfonylurea pancreatic simulators, ditto the biguanide of
choice nowadays, metformin ("Glucophage."😉. On the other hand, Byetta
(the Gila Monster venom-inspired incretin mimetic) IS an injectable.
And it does have to be kept in a fridge. And most insulin-users still
inject or pump, come to think of it....

Sorry Robert, but the USPS team said specifically that the Actovegan cream
the team had was for treating their diabetic team mechanic Julian deVries.
I think you misunderstood what I was referring to. When they asked Sir
Lance about Actovegan he claimed ignorance of it and referred to it as
"Actiosomething."

That explains those loonies hanging out of cars while trying to fix
derailleurs. Must be some kind of speed/ecstasy mix.

At least one pro has come up positive for amphetamines because he used a
mechanic's urine as a substitute for the doping test. They have to work
long days, those mechanics.

I find it difficult to believe that the mechanic forgot about the drugs
he was taking when someone asked him if they could borrow a cup of
clean urine. Cite?
