If there are no changes between models from '05 to '06 then what is the difference?

What would be smart is to wait until the '06 models come out and buy an '05 at a reduced clearance price.

Yeah, wait until the 2006 models hit the shelves, and then spend your money on a 2005 model that is still in stock. You can either get the same model for much cheaper than you would in the 2006 line, or you can use the savings to get a nicer 2005 bike than you could afford in the 2006 line. There is no reason to ensure you get a 2006 over a 2005 unless you need to brag about what year it is or if money is no object for you.

Save the money or get a better bike. Get a 2005 on sale. You might be surprised how much you can save (I'd say 20-40% easily, and even more on rare occasions).

When I bought my last bike, I waited til the 2005 frames came out, then bought a 2004 model. Much better deal.

Unless there's been some amazing advance in cycling, you don't need the latest.

[font=Verdana]Like previously stated, at the $2000 level, last year or this year isn't going to make much of a difference. This is like a computer where the newer version software and chipsets have significant benefits that can actually be seen. Most times the colors and graphics of the bikes don't even change.[/font]
