The new 2004 Cervelos come out end of this month and I was wondering if it was worth it to get the new Dual with ultegra and spend another 100 bucks or just settle with the 2003 dual which is probably going to be discounted. Ideas?

I don't know what the differences will be between them. I bought a P2K last year (2003 model) and it was essentially the same as 2002 - even the same color. This year they've changed the paint job, went from aluminum to carbon seat post, and changed wheel vendors.
I would look at stuff like drive train - are both full ultegra (except the brake calipers)? An after-market crank can sometimes leave you with less than crisp front shifting. What is the price delta?

The key differences are that the 2003 model has shimano 105 while 2004 has ultegra (I believe calipers also). The price for 2004 is going to be 1600 while the 3002 was 1500, although the price may drop due to clearance or whatever.

Here's dumb question... are Cervelos a good TT bike? I mean for the money, that is. You'd have to scrape pretty hard to build something for less than that. They seem really cheap, so I'm wondering if they're really heavy or something. What's the catch????

cervelos are great bikes for the money. I honestly don't understand how they can sell them for those prices compared to what others charge. as stated above, I have a P2K, and don't know how they can sell it for $2000.
are they any good? there were 132 cervelos ridden at kona this year (ironman world championship in hawaii) compared with 165 trek, 134 kestrel, and 119 litespeed. to me, that says they're pretty good. oh, and I rode one to an age group state tt championship gold medal this year. I firmly believe in cervelo.
