    Yesterday the Cannondale Rep for our area came by the bike shop to show off the new Six13 bike. He had a 58cm Saeco Replica with him. It was amazing! 15.7 pounds with computer (Sigma), Cages (Tacx), pump mount (Axiom Sprint-Air) and pedals (Speedplay). That's pretty amazing for a bike that I consider such a good deal. There is no question that the bike is under 15 pounds straight out of the box! WOW!

    I rode the C'dale around for a couple of minutes after switching my pedals over to it, and it is the best Cannondale I have ever ridden (I have been riding an '04 Saeco Replica). It is smoother than the CAAD7 over the rough stuff, but WAY stiffer in the BB and head tube when you sprint. It is a great combo of smoothness and stiffness! A great ride to be sure!

    On another note, the owner of Epic Titanium Bicycles came by the shop to see the new Cannondale bike, and we weighed his new "Falcon" bike which he had brought with him. It is spec'd exactly like in the picture here except he now has ZIPP 303 wheels on it with Tufo Tubulars. It weighed, with pedals (Crank Bros Ti/Ti), cages (IRD carbon), computer (Sigma) 14 pounds flat! That is CRAZY! I rode it for a bit also, and the amazing thing is that it is not skittery or scary at all. Just smooth and snappy! Wicked! They are also a SUPER good deal for Titanium bikes. If you are looking for a crazy light bike or a Ti frame I'd for sure give them a look!

    And pretty irrevalent if one is dragging around an extra 5 pounds or more of beer and pizza.

    Nice bike, no question! The thing is, your bike through WrenchScience or Comptetitve Cyclist = $10000US. Epic Falcon < $7000CAD, which at the current exchange (1.27 or so) is $5500US!!! That's a crazy difference! I totally appreciate and understand the classic, or pimp factor of Colnago bikes, as I have sold one before. Half the price and the same weight is pretty neat though!

    Hey, you are the same height as I am (84 kg) and the same weight as my girlfriend (1.67 m) … that’s scary

    I just did the conversion on 1.82m and 57kg. Thats 6 feet tall and 125 lbs (Its only 114 lbs if you use Marlon1's math -- 6.5kg=13lbs). Holy [censored]!!! May I suggest the all butter and beer diet.😄

    Aaah, actually Campy Boras are wheels....

    I'd take Marlon's bike over the other two any day of the week regardless of any minor differences in weight.

    Bah, irrelevant nothing! A bike like this gives hungry boys like me the license to eat and drink more beer and pizza at less of a net penalty on the hill.

    I'll take a 5 lbs eating credit any day. Of course, I don't actually want to pay for it, so someone will have to give me a Cannondale Six13.

    By the way... did I read correctly that this bike has an aluminum rear triangle and carbon top, down, and head tubes?

    well heres some thing for you to look at then if you like light bikes this is the states of my bike that is up for sale as well so anyone who would like to buy it feel free to send me a message this a stand caad 5 cannondale frame thats just over 6.3kg not bad for a 56cm frame.

    the only reason i am saling this bike is because i have the cannondale six13 in my shop now as i am a cannondale seller and im building the same bike up as you see below but with the six13 frame wich is just over 430gr lighter then the caad 5 frame which will take me under 6kg for a 56cm frame
