  1. I signed up for a 10K two weeks from now. I have run much longer distances than 10K several times
before (2 years ago). These days I walk 6 miles at a time but I haven't run in few months. So I know
I can run the 10K but since I don't have that much time, does anyone have any suggestions on a
    training schedule for me?

    thanks.

General view: too little time to make a big difference.

You might go out and run today if you can, to check on pacing. Maybe, alternate walking and running.

Rest on the week prior to the run.

More bad advice from our Faux Bill. You have a wee to train as much running as you can tolerate,
taper off the last week to only a mile the day before, or not at all the day before. Running and
walking use different muscles, to try to get in all the runs (long, slow, distance) you can this
week. Next time, plan ahead and train.
