1. I just realized I have been on this forum for 10 years. I have encounterd some interesting character some are no longer around, around as in deceased.
I have learned a lot but mainly that no matter where people are from all have similarities and difference, whether they live down the road or half way arond the world.
I expect I will be getting my 10 years, gold plated commerative Chain Ring anyday now. (:

2. Nice, sir, congratulations.

3. Cool!

Not sure but seven of nine would be acceptable.

7. Congrats, JH!

8. Thanks, I never be the same again. 🙂 A lot has changed in 10 years unfortunately I am not impressed with some of the changes in the world but I guess I am glad I can still mash the pedals.

10. 10 years and now its 12 years on the forum. This is a long time. This is a good thing. The changes in the world that you are not impressed with; isn't that the truth? Technology has changed the human relationship. I'm not sure if it is in a good way or not. Interacting with people all over the world I think is good. Getting stuck in a small town box I think seriously limits people. I am back in my home town and it amazes me how people stay stuck in the same mindset. We can at least say that on the internet there is variety and you can make choices about what you pay attention to.

11. Wow, congratulations on this achievement. I had no idea this forum has been around for so long.

12. Oh wow, you must have enountered a great deal of some awesome people from around the world. I wonder if you met them in real life?
Congratulations on you ten anniversary. We owe you a cake, Sir.
If you lived closer, I would make you one, and if we could all gather somewhere, we would have shared the cake. 🙂
I have no idea, too, that this forum is here for such a loooong time!

13. Actually it is about 12 years now and yes I have met some great individuals here . Some are gone now but not forgotten.

14. Hey jhuskey, I've here off and on for 11 years. Just getting old I guess.

15. It has been a nice ride, actually many nice rides.

16. 10 years is a lot of time, so congratulations! I imagine that the forum was totally different 10 years ago?

17. I hit 10 years on this forum a couple of months ago.

I've been on the internet since 1988.
I've been on some of the firearm forums since the dial-in days.
I've been on the a couple of the firearm online forums since 1999 and 2000.
My cycling career spans 44 years and many other have me beat by over a decade.

Does anyone remember Genie and CompuServe? What was your first modem? I know I had a couple of 3600 modems and I'm thinking my first one was a 2400 Hayes. I was no where near the head of the line, but was what I would consider an early adopter of the internet in this area of the world.

As JH said, it has been many nice rides.

There were more heated debates 10 years ago. I have known some really stubborn, polarized members.BTW; Jan did wait on Lance and Lance was doping. I am still on the fence about pedaling "perfect circles".

19. Congrats! You're kinda an old-school user.

20. Makes me feel old and it makes me feel quite humbled to be a part of a place that has been around for so long I guess.

Many of the forums I have been a part of have long since passed to time and it's pretty sad because most of the members I've completely lost contact with.

Still, here's hoping this place is still around in another 10 years!
